Baker Defeats Horn; West vs. Makovsky Set for Finals

Bryan Baker added another notable victory to his record in Louisville, Kentucky last night, as the middleweight worked his way to a Unanimous Decision victory over the highly regarded veteran Jeremy Horn. The 24 year-old Baker (pictured left) who recently announced that he is battling leukemia, now carries a record of 14-2. The loss ended Horn's (86-20-5) six fight winning streak.

In other action from the Bellator 30 main card, Zach Makovsky and Ed West secured a future bout with each other, as the fighters advanced to the finals of the promotion’s bantamweight tourney. West earned a Split Decision victory over Jose Vega, while Makovsky scored a UD win over Bryan Goldsby.

The two will fight for the tournament championship on October 14th.
