Vanier, Schambari Earn Split Decision Vicotries at Bellator 28

Both Carey Vanier and Eric Schambari worked their way to Split Decision victories over UFC veterans last night at Bellator’s 28th event in New Orleans, as Vanier earned the judge’s nod over lightweight Rich Clementi, while Schambari outscored middleweight Matt Horwich. In other action from the event’s main card, featherweight Georgi Karakhanyan worked his way to Unanimous Decision victory over WEC veteran Anthony Leone, and decorated NCAA wrestling champion Eric Larkin submitted prospect Marcus Andrusia with a first round, guillotine choke.
