It appears as though Yushin Okami will finally get a crack at the UFC middleweight title, as the Japanese fighter worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Nate Marquardt today in Oberhausen, Germany. In a very competitive fight that saw neither man land any highlight reel blows, Okami likely scored points with the judges for being the aggressor throughout much of the bout and for controlling the action along the fence. With the win, Okami improves his record to 26-5, while Marquardt’s falls to 30-10-2.
