Dan Hardy continues to speak out, via his official Twitter account, about his unanimous decision loss to Anthony Johnson this weekend at UFC Fight Night 24 and the veteran's immediate future. Saturday's tilt saw the former collegiate wrestler Johnson take Hardy to the mat and control the fight throughout much of it, instead of being the stand-up war many fans and observers expected or hoped for.

Some of the posts appearing on Hardy’s Twitter account have included:

A bad fight is only a grey cloud, over a good weekend. There is only one direction. Forward.

An oldschool shootout with a guy that wants to throw down. Screw the rankings, records are for DJs.

The British vet also referred to multiple, Fight of the Night award winner Chris Lytle, in terms of a fighter who is a renowned entertainer.

Win in a blaze of glory or go out on my shield. Someone like Mr Lytle...

With the loss to Johnson, Hardy (23-9) has now dropped three straight, with additional defeats coming to Carlos Condit and welterweight champion Georges St.Pierre. Hardy quickly ascended his way up the rankings after arriving in the UFC in 2008, by scoring wins over Akihiro Gono, Marcus Davis, Rory Markham and Mike Swick.

Johnson returned this weekend after a lengthy layoff due to knee surgery, and with the dominant win extended his record to 9-3.
