Not only was the March 3rd fight  between Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann one of the year’s best to date, the unanimous decision which was awarded to Sanchez afterwards, was a topic of discussion and debate throughout the MMA world for some time. Kampmann (pictured) was quick to voice his displeasure with the decision following the UFC on Versus event, and now he and Sanchez have been exchanging somewhat heated comments via their official Twitter accounts.

Here are some of the statements that Sanchez and Kampmann have directed at each other recently, regarding their first encounter and a possible rematch.

Sanchez (23-4) has won back-to-back bouts via UD since he lost by decision to John Hathaway at UFC 114 last May. Prior to his tightly contested loss to Sanchez earlier this month, Kampmann (17-5) lost by split decision to Jake Shields at UFC 121 last November, in another bout which saw the judge’s scoring closely scrutinized.
