By FCF Staff After losing by Unanimous Decision to Gray Maynard at UFC 118 on August 28th, the UFC has yet to announce who perennial lightweight contender Kenny Florian will fight next. According to a post Florian made on his official Twitter account this morning, however, his agent Malki Kawa expects to have an answer soon.
So @malkikawa says we should find out next week who I'm fighting.

The loss to Maynard was Florian’s first since he was submitted by BJ Penn at UFC 101 last August. The former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor reasserted his presence in the title shot mix afterwards, with back-to-back wins over Clay Guida and former Pride champion Takanori Gomi.
The 34 year-old Florian is 8-2 in his last 10 fights, which includes additional wins over Roger Huerta, Joe Lauzon and Joe Stevenson.
