Maximum Fighting Championship continues to round out the line-up for the promotion’s upcoming June 10th event in Edmonton, Alberta, as it has confirmed two more bouts for the “Up Close and Personal” card.
At lightweight, Robert Washington (9-3) will take on Curtis Demarce (10-9). Washington will be looking to end a two fight losing streak; at MFC 28 he dropped a split decision to Tyrone Glover, and more recently at MFC 29 earlier this month, he was KO’d by Hermes Franca.
Demarce is also coming off back-to-back losses, as he has lost by split decision to Richie Whitson and Marcus Davis in his last two outings. Prior to that Demarce had won seven straight.
In a middleweight bout, Andreas Spang (5-1) will meet Cody Krahn (10-3). Pang is coming off a submission loss to Ali Mokdad at MFC 29, after knocking out Chaun Sims at Ring of Fire 38 last June.
Krahn last competed in November, when he earned a TKO victory over veteran Shannon Ritch, who was forced to retire in the bout due to injury. Krahn’s only loss in his last five bouts came at Heat XC 6 last October, when he was stopped by Eliot Duff.
MFC 30 will be broadcast live on HDNet and will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Drew Fickett and Hermes Franca for the vacant MFC title.
