Wreck MMA has announced much of the line-up for the promotion’s upcoming May 6th event in Gatineau, Quebec, which will be hosted by The Casino Lac-Leamy. The card will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Craig “Farmer” Brown and “Mr. International” Shonie Carter, and will also feature two title fights, with the lightweight and bantamweight championships on the line.
Due to an injury which forced his removal from the last Wreck MMA card, Brown (7-3) hasn’t fought since last May, when he was submitted by Nick Hinchliffe while fighting for Aggression MMA. In Brown’s last Wreck MMA appearance, at the promotion’s April, 2010, event, he tapped out Chase Degenhardt.
Carter (49-27-7) will be looking to end a six fight losing streak. In the UFC vet’s last bout on March 10th, he was stopped by Rumen Dimitrov, while fighting under the the Bulgarian MMA Federation banner. Carter’s last win came in February, 2010.
